Yesterday I had the opportunity to shoot a new model, Sam Moreno.  She was a lot of fun to work with.  Sam is just starting her modeling career and shows a lot of promise. Here’s one of the shots from yesterday.

Thanks to everyone who participated in our latest Digital Photography 101: Weekend Edition workshop! This weekend was really fun, and Hot!, but everyone did really well and had a great time. Here’s Mark with two of our students at F1 Race Factory, working on our panning lesson. For anyone who missed my last workshop post, F1 Race Factory is an indoor kart racing facility near the studio, and they’re AWESOME to let us out on the track while the karts are flying by! (We had lunch in their grill as well– food, arcade, meeting space, and of course, two tracks, make this a great place to bring the family too!)

There are also some pictures from our outing on Mill Avenue– done after the sun goes down so that we can work on some flash photography. I also have pictures of Luka, who we couldn’t stand to leave home alone on Sunday, so while everyone worked on their patterns I hung with “the Bear”. Maybe a student will share a great pattern photo from their experience, though. If they send me some of their images from the weekend I’ll post them.
