    For those interested: Alfred Hitchkock did the infamous shot of the staircase of the bell tower in “Vertigo” by moving the camera back and zooming in at the same time, which is basically the same technique, only in motion. The result is a really cool space-warping effect that really helps sell the protagonist’s fear of heights. I’m sure you can find a copy of it on youtube or somewhere like that.
